Obvious this statement is not ture.
NT1 released in Feb 02, 2007 (see Xray website). I ordered my NT1 of first batch from Nexus Racing at April 25, 2007. At that time, the price of NT1 is $399.99 and now is $529.99.
See Xray website here.

Need to do better research - In my mind the PB Alpha from Britain was the first commercially available suspension car (imported into the US by MRP out of the northwest) and an Associated RC-500 Prototype won the 1981 ROAR nationals road race at Ratteys in North Attleboro Mass.
I do remember Warren Jameson and Jamie Franklin in Florida both ran PB's during this period but I don't remember either of them having supension on them. Maybe I just wasn't looking close enough.

I'm pretty sure I did my research and unless the Associated Timeline is wrong it shows that you won the race at Ratteys with an RC300. In 1982 was the 24 Hours of Miami at Tamiami Park which I was a scorer, Team Associated ran an RC300 (one engine...same glow plug!). This was the race that Art Carbonell was driving the prototype Eagle for their primary endurance test. 1982..still no RC500. Again...you won the Oval class at the nationals in Indy with an RC300. So, the RC500 basically debuted in 1983 as a two wheel drive car with a chain drive and then evolved from there into the 4WD belt drive car in 1985.

You are 100% percent correct that we ran an RC300 at the Miami Enduro - we were relatively sure that reliability problems would arise with the suspension cars.
By the 82 nats we were running mostly production RC500 pieces and am relatively sure Assosiated was shipping kits by then.
At the 81 worlds in Indy at Castleton mall most of the Brits and some Americans were running PB Alphas (I have a box in my attic that theoretically has enough pieces to assemble one - I hope, betting even Robert at Ashford won't have parts for that, and it was obvious that even on the very smooth surface the suspension cars were superior and it was because of the early suspension cars lack of reliability and Arts superior preparation and driving he won - he did not have the fastest car.

It's neither. American wages are way lower than over here, so compared to Europe, labour in the US is cheap.
I am not Anti-American.I have actually two American citizens living under my roof , my kids.
I just lived there long enough to compare it with the rest of the world and it ain't always positive.
I love a lot of things about America, but I am also critical of a lot of things I saw there, sorry.
I also know a whole bunch of Americans over here. Guess what. They are allowed to voice their opinions about our way of living here and they are not called Indian Killers or Slave Owners if they don't agree with us.
It's just in the US that if you don't swim with the stream you get flamed and in my case called a Nazi. I guess it's just a simple lack of imagination..

You can slam our country all that you want.. but the fact remains, We are and will always be the light of the free world. We are the country that everyone looks to FOR EVERYTHING and you just cant get over this so you try to flame and put us down.
And if you think Obama is so great, you can have him. Our presidency is not a popularity contest that you and the Libral media want it to be. He is Socialist. He believes in income redistribution. He believes in HUGE government. It is not the American way, and its not what made this country what it is.
And you, stefan, welcome to my ignore list. I will never see your putrid scum filled words while I browse this AMERICAN run / owned forum.

May I ask you guys a question?
Any relationship between "US politics" and "whether Serpent is made in China"?
Whether Obama is socialist, he doesn't play Serpent car anyhow!
I don't understand what you guys tried to present?

Rick...thanks for correcting me. Sometimes it's not always what you think you know. Having tested the prototypes back then probably couldn't even compare to today...but, maybe with today's radios....probably not. But how about the reliability of the engine for the Miami Enduro... K&B wasn't it? One Glow plug....had to be the Lion Power Fuel! Great memories nonetheless.

Are the Serpent 960-08's that are still available at some shops made in China?

Now back to topic. Does anyone know where I can get the Serpent 1/10 electric car???? Are all electric cars made in China? These cars look like works of art!
Anyway, the guys here are going indoors and I am a diehard nitro Serpent driver and would like to run the brand during the winter time.

I really think that manufacture is skillful enough to make higher quality. But if everything they make do wear out very slow. How could they make money. Making money is their first goal.

Why don"t you understand.
The whole world is consumed with American affairs, since you are one of the bigger countries and the decisions of your president have a big influence on all our lifes.
That's probably a good thing for your ego, BUT it also brings a huge responsibility with it.
That's why most people in the world were very concerned about the outcome of your election.
