Default hi

I agree. Let us say that they win the world championship but they cant supply the demand of the people. I ordered the V2003 series in January 2003 and they deliver it to me only in July 2003.

Just curious - I own a couple of SMP's 2002 and 2003... I love the car... and I know all about the supply issues It's nice to see that there were 2 cars there at least.

I wouldn't expect them to spend a bunch of money like the "big" teams do...

Awesome car though... and hey it's like driving a work of art ... if you get whooped people still ooh and ahh when you take the body off LOL!

SMP's "factory" team has always been small and their top driver, since losing Oliver Mack, was not there (M. Geisendorf). From what I understand SMP is not interested in spending lots of money to send their team to races, which is one of the reasons Oliver Mack left (they would not send him to Australia in 2001). Their team did attend the 1999 Worlds in France though since the travel distances are very short from Switzerland and Germany.
....obviously they think spending more on the cost of making the car is more important than promoting the car.......interesting business technique.

It makes sense given that they only make X amount of cars per year, for whatever reason, and supposedly always sell out... so there's no need to spend a lot of extra money on promotion/sponsorship.

BTW - I have since learned that the car will be called the "Evolva 2003." The new name is a little odd I'll admit, but can't argue with the results.
