I hope it works as good as your mrx3 chasis
after I drove the mrx3 with the upline chasis
i bought another 1/8 scale just from that
test day. totally different car from stock.

I don't like it... Used one friends MRX3 with this chassis and the need to file and modify the front bulkheads is a mess for me. Prefeer to stick with the Stock or the Mico ones.

CR

Did you drive the car CR? The car handles very well and is based totally on a diferent bases than just a plain chassis or lightened one.

The MTX3 kit needs no mods done.

Yes I drove the MRX-3, in fact have got a second MRX-3 car to have a unit only for race and other (the old) for practice the weekends. Regarding MTX-3, yep, I drove it, tried it and raced it many times (have it like about November 2002).

I'm glad about hearing that MTX-3 doesn't need any kind of mods to be used, felt a big no-no the need of filing the stock parts for an aftermarket chassis.

Lightbulb Upline Chassis for the Mugen MRX-3

Hello Corse-R,

Its really not that difficult to do and certainly not
messy at all. With a dremel tool, it only took me
about 10 minutes longer (the first time) when I
built a new kit to use the Upline Chassis on. And
the second time was even quicker since you already
know where and how to work on it.

Its an excellent Upgrade to the the already awesome
Mugen MRX3 Car. I am currently using the Chassis and
I found that my car is a lot stable when having it
manage the Sweepers and the Shicanes at very high
speeds. The On-Power steering that my car has gained
from this chassis is tremendous! More importantly is the
Stability Factor added onto it...

On a lighter note, I like how the head of my motor has
never been scratched again since it sits 3 MM lower. Its
basically even more protected hiding between the Roll
Bar and the Wing..

All I have to say is everybody that has tried Ron's car
with the upline chasis was convinced of the advantages
of the chasis. It just plain caries more speed through turns
with more confidence. It turns in faster with stability and it
lowers the cg. you can even adjust the front roll center
in front.
