The MTX4 will be less expensive in the long run, TM has a long history of "required" "upgrades" but the car is quite nice and their drivers are probably doing better than Mugen but Mugen doesn't seem to be attending many races recently.

upgrade-able is better than totally new kit imho.
at least yr car won't be outdated,
other than TM; kyosho cars also have a history of upgrading...the series of v1rrr, which i can't remember all of them.

TM has had no success at my track... Too fragile compared to others... My suggestion is get either a Serpent, Mugen, Kyosho or Xray... Best thing about Serpent or Kyosho, is that you can run the car box stock and be competitive...

Mugen needs to go on a extreme diet to keep up. And many hop-ups to make it competitive.

Can't say about Xray only one person runs it at my track and has been waiting one month for parts.

Good luck with your choice.

Team Magic G4RS or Kyosho RRR Evo 2. They're both great kits. Kyosho can probably take more punishment but if you're a good driver and stay away from hitting things that's no really an issue.

parts , parts , parts it is the only consideration if you cant buy them in your town forget that car. other wise buy 2 kits. i would also recommend to see what people drive at your local track. the guy willing to help you and have parts there id recommend that car./ you will get the most help with setup and all of these cars tend to have 1 little quirk in them. so find the people that are going to share there experiances with you. the guys that try to hide everything stay away from that car. means they had to mod the car to much

Hard to belive that it's hard to get parts for kyosho with all the online stores & also being able to buy it directly from kyosho & most top racers hobby shops carry the most parts for the top 3 or 4 commonly used cars Kyosho,Mugen,Serpent,Xray you can always go onto there site & go to dealer locator you should not have a problem.

HI
I would be looking at either the Team Magic G4RS or the Kyosho V1RRR EVO2 both these cars are quicker than the mugen car at my track and its not the driver its just that these two cars are faster also look at the worlds just run most of the front runners were running a kyosho evo2, I think TM have a bigger parts availability online as there will always be a supplier out of stock on one thing you want and its best to have alot of suppliers for parts ready when you need them!.good luck!
Cheers
