Had a lot of fun this weekend. Congrats to Richie and Jamie on their wins, and hopefully we can run more races at this location.

My congratulations to all the racers who participated and by all accounts made this a great event. Region 1 racers deserved a Regionals in 2008 and I'm proud that NERCAR was given the opportunity to step up and help make this happen.
NERCAR will be moving all future club events to Chaplin CT. Check out www.controlfreakz.com for information on this new facility and their own schedule of events. Kenny Ives is the man behind this impressive move to create a permanent facility and he has my sincere thanks.
My appologies for this but NERCAR will have to postpone the event that was scheduled for this weekend 8/24. The NERCAR team will be taking a needed break and will post a replacement date. Again, check out www.controlfreakz.com as they may have an event scheduled for this weekend.

Race in Chaplin CT this weekend
Hello all.
I just wanted to report that there will be a race in Chaplin CT this weekend.
The control freakz www.controlfreakz.com will be taking over the NERCAR date this coming weekend.
Also keep in mind that there are no engines running pror to 10:00AM
I also believe that the surface is being sealed with the same sealer they use in Toledo OH. Tire wear and tracktion should be improved greatly from the last time we ran there.

I am so mad I had to miss what seems was a great race. Congrads to everyone who won...Changing jobs suck, and hopefully I can be out next year in full force.
