Probably, but the won't fit your Mugen spur gears.
AE uses American 32 pitch, Mugen uses metric spur gears

For the Centax Clutch, what are the first gear options if second gear is 24-27 tooth?

Please, lets get the pinion confusion cleared up!!! I am a week or so from ordering mine and want to make sure of a few things!!!
1. Will the stock Associated Pinions screw onto the Centax housing??
2. If NO-what are the pinions available right now?
3. What parts and part number's are needed to get the stock gearing replicated on the Centax.
Thanks Steve and ME-Student-or whomever.

Stefan,
Sorry about that buddy, it does include a 26T 2nd gear pinion with the package. You can use the stock 1st gear pinion, and kawahara have second gear pinions available from 24T to 27T

why won't the second gear Associated fit the clutch?

because Centax style clutches have different diameter threads for 1st and second gear, while the reguler clutches have the same thread diameter for both gears

Thanks for the infomation

agreed - what exactly do we need in order to use this $100 part that seems to be rising in total cost (plus pinions, plus that. . .)?

Centax
So, bottom line is, if we have to pay the list price (hope not...) it's going to account for half the chassis cost. Whoa.
#1047
plus additional costs for new pinions and . . . .
#1048
$90 for the Clutch
$12 for 24 tooth
$12 for 25 tooth
$12 for 27 tooth
$6 for Associated 20 tooth
$6 for Associated 21 tooth
$6 for Associated 23 tooth
$144 total
$12 for 24 tooth
$12 for 25 tooth
$12 for 27 tooth

$6 for Associated 23 tooth

Steve Wang said earlier that the clutch comes with the 26 tooth pinion. And you get a 22 tooth pinion with the Car.
