I never had any probs with corrosion....i`d hazard a guess that the wheel movement would prevent corrosion.........that said if u did have any corrosion it`d just be a case of re-polishing it off.
Cheers

I had the exact same problem getting the pivotball to thread into the arm. I tapered the threads on the pivotball, and still couldn't get it in. The way I resolved it was to replace the pivotball. And add this pivot to the pile of bent pivotballs. Hope this is helpfull.

i think associated purposefully make the linkage longer so that you can cut it to the correct length to fit your carby.

It shouldn't be that hard.. make sure you apply the black grease to it before winding in..

well, iam starting to think i am in the wrong hobby. I have always been a diy'er. However, I am having more and more problems. I got the radio controller figured out. Now i am having trouble getting the steering servo to not hit the body plate. I have used the spacers and left them out....i have tried switching the servo around. It still hits the body and binds.

Also theread diff starts to pop-up when i put in the left rear hub. it is almost as if one of the gears is warped.I have rebuilt it three times and it is right.

frustrated.....i want this thing burning nitro!
