Even a perfectly flat NTC3 chassis can get warped by just mounting the drivetrain and suspension components on it.
Great care must be taken when mounting the gearboxes and such. I usually mount them loosly and then tighten them in a predetermined sequence. Check with a straightedge as you go.

10 chassis's is a guess, I dunno how the hell you could ever hurt this thing. Other the engine mounting slots. I have had my engines on and off a dozen times now and theres not even a bolt mark in the slots, so maybe not even wear it out there.

warped stuff !!!!!
if the manufacturer s made cars that were 100% correct (indestructable, long lasting, unwarped, etc etc )......WE COULDNT AFFORD TO BUY THEM

NOT!!
If they made them that way there woudn't be any need for aftermarket manufacturers.

Also if they made them that way, they could'nt sell spare parts. They love it when you wreck and warp a chassis, break the chassis braces wipe out a diff case and a shocktower or two and a driveshaft. I guess you can all so say it helps the economy

Manufactures must make a fortine off of spare parts when you think about it the parts are actually worth a fraction of the cost of what we pay for them. A day or two ago I stripped out a shock end on my gt and it cost 3 bucks to buy another two, it couldnt have cost the manufature more than 20 cents to make them and for the materials, mabey even less.

HI to all! New to this forum....anyone here running an OS12TR Turbo on there NTC3? Somehow I cannot get mine work right and thinking of putting back my non-turbo 12TR. The Turbo won't run below 200F and have to set the idle high. I started 2 1/2High & 2 1/2Low(from flush) as per manual and now I'm 1 1/2High needle....done already with the break-in and still won't run right....I'm using an OS medium turbo plug/20% Trinity nitro.... your inputs Please....Thanks!

i don't think you will be able to run the
tr turbo under 200 degrees
i think the turbo motors need to run quite a bit
hotter/leaner to run correctly, but i am not sure
i am interested to hear responses regarding this
good luck
