What size foam are you guys running on your NTC3's?

Front 26 or 28?
Rear 28 or 30?

Thanks in advance!

how much heavier are the aluminum gearbox's, shock towers, and side braces compared to the lightweight graphite pieces? The aluminum parts were made by RD logics. Will I notice a difference in speed, handling, etc?
Thanks in advance!

Only Get the diff cases... the rest of the parts are not strong enough for what they do... if you want a stronger chassis get the kfactory left side brace, and either the hardcore racing chassis braces if you want the stock radio tray or just get the kfactory radio tray... for shock towers get either a hardcore racing or kfactory one the kfactory one uses and extra screw for more strength... personaly again i would get the kfactory one, because of its added strength... either way only get one for now... cause they just released a new one that strengthens the chassis even more as it uses 5 or 6 screws... if you get this you wouldnt even need the alluminum diff cases which is what i will likely choose to do...

or you could save yourself 150 dollars and put "THE FIX" on the shock towers...

Y you selling? and as for the fix... it is still not as effective as reinforcing the parts themselves... the and where did u get 150 ? all you need is in the front... thats 50... the fix is 10... and it doesnt strenthen near as much as the shocktowers do... they also give a little bit beter shock action as the towers wont bend at all... plus it looks beter... plus... the fix just moves the stress from the diff case to the shock tower... so instead of killing the case i ripped up my shocktower... which takes longer to switch out...

I got those lunsford shock mounts... well worth the money... make adjusting shocks far easier... and they help prevent tweak... as on the car i put them on the old ones were bent...

Yeah it looks like TheRed5 is jumping ship too. I can't sell mine cuz it seems there are ALOT of NTC3's for sale

I'll probably keep the NTC3(ANY TAKERS??) and wait for revisions or improvements to be made on the car(hint-hint AE). I got way too many spare parts for it and foams.

How about you?

Default Cool receiver pack solution

I needed to add some weight to the battery side of my NTC3 to balance the car, so I investigated some alternative receiver pack solutions. I wanted to use something slightly larger than the 5 cell trinity pack that I had been using. I found some NiMH 4/5 AF size cells at the local battery store. The new cell pack puts out 6 volts and has a capacity of 2600 mAh instead of 1100 mAh. Also, it managed to add just enough weight to the right side of the car, and now the car is perfectly balanced side to side. Anyway, it is so cool having so much capacity in the receiver pack and the 4/5 AF cells fit perfectly in the NTC3.
