The mip is a 2 shoe with a wrap around spring right?
Its definately a more common and effective type of clutch than the finger type that is stock (if only they would make a 3 shoe... )and is definately the next best thing to the kfactory centax... (which is WAY beter than the kawahara one...)

Again FastHarry, yes I've been racing MTX3's...and to be perfectly honest, they're FAST. But they're still having teething problemsamd most mains I'm behind them at the start, but in front of them at the end.

Hi guys
About foam tires. What is the difference between a front tire shore vs a rear tire shore, let's say a Jaco Nitro-Shoe FRONT 40 vs a Jaco Nitro-shoe REAR 40 being both (rear ansd front) the same width, let's say 26mm and of course the same shore?
Thanks
J

A: Nitro Shoes are available in front and rear compounds. Even though the durometer number may be the same. The rubber is completely different. The durometer numbers reflect relative hardness among similar tires in the same foam family. The difference includes cell-structure, wear resistance, bite and price. Fronts have less bite but better wear. Rears have much more bite and slightly higher wear.

Wouldn't 40% wear out an engine really fast?

The chassis is based off the ntc3. It's actually based off the proto type chassis
Dennis Richey designed, but we have taken it a few more steps than he did. Its like 3.5mm in the middle of the chassis and tapers too about 1.5mm on the outer edges. with the tapered chassis theres no dragging the chassis on the edges, in high speed swooper turnrs.
Sorry guys no more pics until project is completely finished and tested.

Front tires have a smaller "cell" foam than rears do. I have never had a front tire work on the rear and vice versa...

The new chassis deal is 100% AE NTC3! Except for the chassis and upper deck.
I'm not letting anything else out about the deal right now, sorry! No offence to anyone, but I'm not releasing pics here for people to copy or hack on me about.
You guys will see the finished product about mid season, then you can judge it.
