Anyone have to retune their engine after adding the RD Logics pipe? I slapped the new pipe on there and seemed to keep flooding the engine. Hmmmm?!?!?!?

Fuel filters are good... =) Get one that you can clean and reuse like mines or something like it.

you should have to retune the motor after most all pipe changes....it is normal...

This question isn't specific to the ntc3 but it does apply for it. Can you install any .21 engine air filter on any .12-.15 engine? I read that you could do this somewhere and I wasn't sure if it was true so Im just getting some more opinions.

To use the center pipe deal you have to bend the header out alittle. Did'nt think about the handle issue because that was the first thing to go. I don't see the need for the handle I never run the car without a body, and when the body is installed the handle is of no use but extra weight.
Glad the new pipe fixed the car Fuse! Did'nt read that in any manual huh?
Always follow instructions! Yea! Thats the ticket!

Anybody using the turbo styled pipe by rd logics and what is the difference between the turbo and tuned pipes?

number 11 the difference between the turbo and tuned is
in the internal design the turbo is designed for modified
engines or the latest short stroke engines such as
mr12, rody, or the new s3 from nova. another application
would be for 5 port engines. if you own a nova based engine
such as the tops version, mt12 long stroke motor. the regular
version will suite that type of motor better.

as for the stinger it will stick out if you make the wire too long
pushing the pipe out. i helped out a couple of the locals
here and shortening the wire will pull the pipe closer to the
chasis.

i will try to find my disk with the pic.

heres the pic of my car with the prototype pipe with a longer
stinger. with the production type pipe the stinger should not
stick out past the tires assuming you guys are running at least
199 mm of track width.

BBNTC3,

thanks for the input.
in the mean time i'm running the pipe on its side but i cant find a body to fit in. whahaha.. anyway i shall try to find ways to mount it on the center.

i was using a cheapo taiwan pipe golden in colour and really wake up the 3 port sts .. i can say that the engine peak everytime i pull the trigger!!! there is so much power i think i either need to reduce to 15% fuel or change look for a lower power engine.

the best part is that finally the engine top end is running rich and it wont bog, and can idle for 20 sec. using the old pipe, my setting was very lean so as i wont kill the engine mid way.

lots of smoke and very very fast!!.. i like it very much. but all those whom saw me at jurong track on sat said i have a horrible looking car. wahhaa

anyway its just a prototype at the moment. too much power with out control equal to slow lap times. looking into a side exhust engine at the moment.

by the way is there anny engine tuner whom does side exhust engines?

thanks

Hey all I am looking for a list of bodies and their characteristics. I think that I have seen a list on this forum, but I can't seem to find it now. I plan to start to race and I just wanted to get an inside info on bodies and their handling.

I hope someone can help

THanks Jason
