that red box is a personal transponder unit. It's something used in racing so that you don't have to attach a transponder to your body or somewhere else on the car. It's also lighter than a transponder.

Most clubs/tracks sell these AMB transponders (AMB is the manufacturer of these). For more information visit the AMB site : http://www.amb-it.com/amb.asp

Default Gotta Question....

I have just put the new white gears in my car. I have the RD Logics diff cases, Yokomo or Assoc. HD one way unit in the front. All the diff gears are the new white and the diff pinions are the new material as well.

Now, I tightened the rear diff up, but if its in your hand it turns freely and seems okay. But when I put the diff case together and have the car back, ready to run it's driveline is very tight, if I turn one rear wheel the driveshaft and front wheels tun but not the other rear wheel. And all the driveline feels very tight. Is this is the way the new gears are or is something wrong?

My entire car, with the RD Logics braces, diff cases, and shock towers, and GH hobbies chassis plate weighs 60.4 ozs. That's with PT, no fuel, and no body.

the front diff(one way) feels fine, and good, although when turned in reverse, is tight, too.

I have 2 spacers, behind the ring gear in the rear diff. Same as I had on the gray gears.

From what I gather they are the same code number. So when ordering you need to ask for the new white versions
