I posted pics a few pages back, but here you go. Everything looks really good. I'm putting the cases on the car today. The only thing that I might have to do is remove the paint from the bearing races on the painted blue cases, not sure yet. I thought it may be a tight fit, I'll let you know.

Here are a few pics of the RD upper transmission cases on my car. The only problem I ran into was with the carbon corner braces. The aluminum upper cases are molded slightly thicker than the original plastic cases, and the fit between the corner braces was a little tight. Other than that they where perfect. I still used the longer screws, and blue locktite. With the braces installed I think it would take one hell of a hit to damage anything. Enjoy.

I have a few different views for you guys. Please excuse the partially assembled car, I still have 2 months before our season begins. I just took the pipe off the car to drill the new pressure port location, and to plug the old one.

how would you guys rate teh tc3 as a Foam car....
I went on the new HPI thread and suggested teh HPI should drive the current cars,tc3 included..
all I got back was everyone telling me the worlds win was a fluke,NO ONE runs a tc3 on foams, they all run Mugens,etc..and that the tc3 is winning a few rubber tired races, but nothing on foams..
Care to pay a visit there?...

Here's the front of the car. I am thinking of trading in the Hardcore titanium bumper support for the K-Factory carbon fibre support. I don't know, titanium, or carbon fibre, two of my favorites, decisions, descisions!

Last one, front end again. Definately worth the cash, looks sweet too, always a plus.

fastharry,
You know, I deleted the HPI forum from my favorites list after they shut us down. I may have to drop by again and check it out. I can tell you that no one I know personally races their NTC3's with rubber tires. Foams rule around here. World win was a fluke huh? How many NTC3's where in the A? Who TQ'd? What other Mfg. made it into the top 10 (or 20 for that matter), other than AE, Serpent, and Trinity? I don't have to argue the point, it's proven, the car performs. Period. (I won't even mention the Nationals, we didn't win, but we TQ'd, and held like 5 or 6 of the 10 spots in the A, again.)

I run my NTC3 on foams every weekend. I'm running the book set up for foams plus purple springs front, and copper rears, best tires are plaid fronts with dbl Purple rears. I like the CRC foams...their wheels are nice and strong.
I've decided to concentrate on my 235mm car this year, therefore I have a killer NTC3 with all mods to finish races, and a ton of spares MT12 engine for $350.00
