strodedawg- you got PM. As for videos, I suppose there might be some on youtube. 2wd is pretty popular in France, someone has to have a video up.

Normally I am the last guy to jump on the new class bandwagon (or return of an old class) but these things look pretty cool. I would not mind trying one out.

My Motonica Classic arrived this morning. Thanks Garen. I may bring it with me to the Nationals so racers can take a closer look.

So how much does that car run? And how does it drive?

I think a simpler/cheaper 2wd 1/8 on-road racer would be way cool. I'm a "GT Guy" looking to get into something more but don't want to ante up for the standard Mugen/Kyosho/Serpent offering of cars. I'm also not ready for their capability yet.

This type of car seems like a great transition class.

Anybody else who has info and experience with one of these "modern" 2wd 1/8 on-road cars please post up.

I don't know how the racing is out there in Cali but from what I have seen at 301 some of the top GT guys should have no problem moving to 1/8th if they choose. Still, I kind of agree this could be a cool class if you could get enough people to run it.

Hello,

I have a BMT 95R that I am looking to sell, any interest in this car. PM me if you are. I also have a HPI Proceed and Serpent Vector for sale too.

Thanks,
Steve

You have PM regarding the Moto kit.

I have not driven one of these or any 1/8th 2wd; the last 2wd car I drove was a Serpent Impact, but those were quite different than the Motonica 2wd and other 1/8th 2wd cars. With 2wd you won't need a powerful (expensive) motor, tires will last longer, run times will be longer, and due to the simplicity of the design, you won't spend as much money on parts.
