lets just say the high speed needle is running leaner than most guys with the same engine (and still, it runs rich having a lot of smoke and a temp at less than 230 deg). really should have gotten the ths pipe neptunes! arrgh..

look at the pic i found at the brazil pre worlds, the tc3 now looks like the LD3 with a revised tank and rear pillow balls. hehe!

haha. Saw the writeup on the factory team NTC3. quite funny how ofna was bashed for 'copying' and then AE ends up changing their design a la ofna. They still haven't fixed the shock tower/diff thing, which I have NEVER had a problem with

These are the rules for the upcoming season in my area:

Nitro rules are short and sweet.
ANY SMALL-BLOCK engine with however many ports you can handle.
Touring car style body 2 or 4 door.
wonder what I should run?

same rules apply here in the philippines spenzalli! everything is legal around here! hehe! the only thing organizers regulate is that if the race is foams, use foams. if rubber, use rubber (for protection )

hahaha. It makes it easier to tech (hard to hide a big block), and for those that want a bit more kick but can't pay $250+ for a mod motor (or a novarossi here in the states) it makes them feel a bit better

Chasis and shaft came in today, brace and radio tray got here Friday. IT'S BUILD TIME!

I didn't realize the LD3 wasn't milled all the way thru on the chasis. Interesting. Now the question: Should I finish the CF and aluminum brigade (lower a arm mounts, shock towers) before or after I get the engine? Open practice is April 4, 1st race April 18. The way the payscale works, I can make one big purchase next week. Not that I NEED the engine for the first race ( I could bait a few people with the slower engine and smack them in the head with the D5 later), but I WANT it, and now!

For the second and third problem, if the car is new, the diff could be still breaking in. If not, the shimming inside may need to be checked, and also make sure the diff is not coming apart. A couple pages back Team driver Chris Verano recommended using the screws from the one-way on the rear diff (also looks like the same screws that hold the radio box on the graphite tray on my version).

i had similar problems with my rear diff, usualyy the rear diff needs a bit more spacing then whats required in the instructions,i took my rear apart after noticing a "clicking" noise when i held the rear wheels and got someone to turm the front ones, and my crown gear was practically round, so i got a new one and spaced it forward = no problems to this day
