Hey Manticore- Got round to finishing your shell....but 2 things screwed up....

The purple I was using was over 3 years old...I think the paint has gone off...there was some blotching!!

The chrome strip came out really nice at first....but I was trying out a new masking sequence so I could back the chrome with Tamiya white...it turns out that the Tamiya white paint reacts to the chrome.....turning it into just plain silver!! I more cheezed off about that because I hate spraying chrome because it is not water based and the whole flat smells like hell!!

Anyway...you may have to wait a little longer to get it....GF birthday this Saturday...not a good idea to go to PYC!!! (If I value my life!!)

can you leave my MTX3 with Mr. Lam before Friday if you are not able to go PYC? we will miss you !!
