Default dodge stratus body 3.1

Hi, I just bought the protoform dodge stratus 3.1 body-is this the one racers use for 1/10 sedan? I heard it has great downforce, makes the car handle better.

The stratus body is one of the most common bodies that many racers race. Very good traction as well as good aerodynamics.

The Dodge Stratus 3.1 is a good even keel body. But I prefer the turn in of the Parma M body.

Pass you soon...

Which one should I get? The Stratus 3.1 or the East Civic body?

also why do people favor certain brands to race with and other brands you never see somebody using the race-is it the weight?

for example-an hpi dodge stratus body vs. a protoform dodge stratus body

My avatar has a pic of my car with the DNA3. I use that body on small to medium tracks. That body gives me the most steering on tight tracks.

The Protoform Stratus vs. the HPI Stratus.. That is a good question. I run the Protoform because it feels pretty neutral on high speed tracks. The HPI is a nice body. I use to run it three years ago. It was a good all around body. It comes out to using the body as another tuning aid.

Right now I'm interested in the Civic East body. It looks pretty good for high speed tracks.

I have found the rear wing which comes with the Stratus is the best. I use this wing on all the bodies I have, inc' DNA 3, Mazda 6 and natrually the Stratus 3.1

You get more downforce from this wing then the others.

I've recently been running the DNA 3 body with this wing and with the DNA's great front end and turb in capability and the Stratus rear wing on. It really makes a great combination. Makes the car feel very balanced while at the same time still quite aggressive from the steering aspect.

Regards,
British Menace
