Throttle question?
 

i have a throttle question i was playing today and what i knowest that when i press 3/4 throttle it hella quick but when i press all the way it sound weird like blom blom sound and it also sound flooded but its not what needle do i need to tune plz help

How many turns are you out on the high speed needle?

You might want to try to richen it a little if it seems to start to bog down when your at or close to full throttle.

Sounds like he is describing the 4 stroking sound and if that's the case he needes to lean out the high end 1/8 of a turn at a time until it screams all the way through the power band

I might agree with you if he didn't say that at 3/4 throttle it seems ok with good throttle response.If it was sluggish all the way through then the high speed could be really rich.

How much smoke is coming from the pipe?

smoke i think a one lilo cloud so i think i have been riching it too much ill try it out tommorrow and let u guyz know thx for the help

If it's the same engine as in your signature(rs12)then reset the main needle back to around 5 turns out and try it then.

naw i not useing the novarossi rs 12 turbo modifed im useing my new novarossi top TT12S1 turbo engine i just got it and when i set it on the starter box and press full throttle it work fine but when i put it on the street and press full throttle it sound boggle and stops maybe its too flooded?

any other ppls that can help me i tryed to tune my high speed needle to lean and it still happend :flaming: should i lean it even more?:confused: :cry:

How many turns out is the high speed needle at the moment?

Mark the position and screw it in all the way while counting how many turns until the bottom!!!!

kinda sounds likethe problem i had with my sirio, i actually had to richen it up past the or at the recomended start to get it to run decent:weird:

spit is excetlly right i have to run it rich to run good:confused:
