Default What is your opinion of the OS TR .12

Just wondering what everyone's opinion on the OS TR .12 is. I have one know and I want to know how it holds up compared to the MT, MR, RB, and the Rossi?

I have 2 TR turbo type engine. Its a very good engine and very realiable. Comparing to my Nova S5, the TR got beaten during accelaration out of coner and also the top end.

Its very reliable, strong and consistent. Its also very easy to tune and reactes well to tuning input.

Its not as strong on the top end as many of the engines you listed there though.

But that only makes it more fun when you beat someone who is using one those.

Yea I agree with that. I have been using a os cv .12 for a while and I piss some of the guys off because there running all of the rossi and mt's and I wop there ass with a 94.00 dollar motor. but I was looking for just a little more motor. And I have had great luck with OS. So i figured I would find out about the TR.

I am also running this motor in my Reflex and have had nothing but good luck with it. Reliable and fast. Till you race with a bunch of guys running Smeltz motors

If you are not on a really huge track this motor will be fine.

Later.

OS makes great motors, you can't go wrong with them. Its fun watching the guys with the high buck motors when they can't get em running.

totally agree..but comparing the the 12TR with MT's or RB's is a bit unfair.
as for me,both my nitro cars can only use threaded shafts,so it's either this or a Sirio(which is expensive and a bit rarer).
for more bang for the buck , (not racing) then by all means drop a 15CVR..solves any power problem!

The OS TR is has the most torque of the 1+ Hp bunch!!!!!! IF you gear the car correctly it will have insane take off i think it is one of if not the best short track motor out there!

Good short track motor, easy to tune. Just doesn't have the top end for really big tracks...
