do the A main drivers from last year rain out get the deal that was talked about????? just wanting to know would like to come back to Texas and run with you guys. no spec class this year???

I will check with Mike Q. to get the details on the deal he promised . If I remember right, the deal was if you flew in for the race and your main was rained out, then Mike would pay for your entry to this years race. The 1/8th open A main was the only main rained out and Brad Toffelmire was the only racer in that race that flew in. Sorry Tim, if I have this correct then you would not qualify for this deal since you lived here then. I may have this all wrong so don't hold me to this. I will talk to Mike and find out exactly what he promised.

2008 Texas Biggie Announcement
RCRCNT is proud to announce that the 31st Annual Texas Biggie will be held on the dates of July 17th-20th, 2008 at RCRCNT Raceway in Rendon (Dallas/ Ft. Worth), Texas. Please note that the dates of this year’s Biggie reflect a departure from it’s traditional Memorial Day time in an effort to avoid the weather from putting a damper on this event. The Biggie has suffered from rain in 2 of the last 3, and 3 of the last 11 years, so the club voted to make this date change for this year. In future years we will weigh the benefits of this date compared to the traditional date when scheduling.
Last year when the 1/8 Open A-Main was rained out, there was a promise made to those who did not run their main that this year’s entry fees would be complimentary. RCRCNT not only stands behind that promise, but we will throw in a complimentary covered pit space to boot!
This year’s entry fees will be reduced to forty dollars for the first class, thirty dollars for the second class and the covered, pavestoned floored pits with electricity are only ten dollars each!

That is not exactly what was said, but if that is what the deal is now, then we can go with it.

After some investigation, I have discovered that Tim is indeed correct. Everyone in last years 1/8th open A-main will recieve a free entry and pit spot to this years Texas Biggie. I have posted a new entry form with the lower price of $40.00. Sorry for the confusion and we hope everyone will take advantage of this reduced price and come race the 2008 31st Texas Biggie.
