I am focusing on 1:1 scale car racing now, so I gotta liquidate my R/C stuff I love this car... it was the best handling car of any at the track I raced at last year.

Sure. It gives you extra runtime, and it kills any air bubbles.

I need these parts for my FW-05R to convert it to RR.

-Rear Hub (VZ202)
-Front Knuckle Arms (VZ201)
-Front upper suspension shafts (VS038)
-Front upper bracket (VS037)

Can anyone please help me find them.

Is the FW05 now officially dead?

well I don't know about the thread... it's been a while since I get on the internet about the hobby. But my FW05RR is still going strong, A mains on occasion, and depending on if I had some practice track time(rarely lately).

Luckly I know the car well enough to have a general set-up that works for me and my style driving.

But for some reason I think most of us are on the same boat.

Most set-ups have been posted.

*edit**** sorry, this set-up not for rubber tyres

My general set-up:
W/ 37t diff gears for all situations

Front:
doop-1
camber- 1.5-2
toe- 0
spings- stock
shock 50
swaybar- nuetral
diff oil- 80,000
Wheels: 37 to 40

Rear:
droop-4
camber-2.5-3.5
toe-2
spings- stock
shock- 40-50
swaybar- stock, vary whether on or off
diff oil- 10,000
Wheels: 37-40

Something basic, play around with it, there is room for improvement...

I finally got round to breaking it in today, but the servo wire got chewed in the gears after a couple of tanks.

However, I got some advice. 3 degrees toe in at the rear, but I'm running on a bumpy track so I've got 6.5mm rear and 5.5 mm at the front in ride height. I've put 35wt oil in the shocks, 500 seems a bit hard to me, especially for rubber. 1 degree camber all round too.

I never ever ran more than 2 degrees rear toe in with rubber, but i did have to run the stiffest rear roll bar with the softest springs (1.2) all round.

Default Y Y Y is this car...

Everyone says this car sucks, I talk to Kyosho and they ask Y do I want the car when I can have the RRR. I am starting to get confused. Now I am wondering Y do we all run this car? Are we that much different?

If I was paying full price I would've gone for the v one. But I'm racing S class, not R class. And I got a good deal.

I prefer the fw-05 over the V1RRR. Why should I get a V1? Just to be on the boat with everyone else on the tracks? Nope, I beg to differ
