I use the Kyosho Ti pivot balls with Delrin cups made by Square which came from one of the HK site (can't remember which)

Battery pack changed to a AAAhump pack and moved forward to the side if the gearbox, receiver then placed below the battery holder with holes cut for crystal and wires, it is held on by 2-sided tape, plastic from a cable tie pack cut and place over battery holder were receiver used to be, held on by the battery holder screws.
This is not a water tight solution, in mearly stops the water falling on to the receiver. If you go through standing water this set up my not work.
In heavy water I run with lexan guards to stop water flying of tyres in to shell area.

NiMo how well do the square inserts fit in the nuts? The kyosho inserts that come in the kits fit rather sloppy in the optional nuts.

They must fit well as they have been in the car for over a year and I have yet to think about changing them.

Alternatively, you can use the Delrin cups made by kfactory (for G4).
