No.
You can use the R rear shock tower, but you cannot use the R front tower.
The Carbon RR front shock tower was released from the factory earlier this week.

Has somebody experience with the 3racing supension pin set for the FW-05RR (FW05-RR003)? Good tolerances (exact diameter), smooth finish? Hardness compared to the stock ones?

What is the difference with SSG-Carbon compared to the normal Carbon except the silver look?

Thank you for your comments!

Regards
Robert

Yes, i think so. I googled abit and it says that it is normal carbon coated with aluminium fibers. Therefore it should'nt be lighter when used in the same dimensions? - So - is it only for the look (that i don't like btw)?

SSG is mainly for UV protection. Graphite will deteriorate under UV. exposure. A layer of aluminium fiber will help to protect graphite from UV.

Correct me if I'm wrong... SSG is softer and more flexible and they are always slightly thicker than their normal CF counterparts.

If this is the case, the carbon parts are usually under the hood while in the sun so there wont be a major problem with the UV deterioration, moreover it might break earlier than getting damaged by the UV..

If SSG is softer or flexible as the guys said, I wouldnt want to compromise strenght for looks !

Nothing to be curious about. I think your weight is quite normal. Taking into consideration that your foams should weight less than my rubber-tires it will be ok. Maybe you are using a oneway which saves up another 19 grams (page 22 on this thread). At least nimo's car seems to be some kind of heavy.
Robert

As i said earlier i didnt weigh my car since i bought it back in sept. 04, only when u guys were talking that i thought of doing so...... as i wanted to find out how much did my car weigh !!

I am using Kyosho rubbers, inners &wheels. I am on stock so no front one way.....Front one way comes stock with the hop up version of fw05r which comes with a carbon top and sp chassis aswell.

But hey as Nimo said

"""Doesn't it feel good to beat the other racers with a car that's a good 100g+ overweight """

Which is quite true...... infact the wieght might be just giving you the grip !!
