Nimo, have you got that problem?

Whether it is digital or analogue it burns. I personally have not burn one yet (hope not anyway) and I was previously using a futaba radio with futaba servos. Just changed to a sanwa radio M8. Any advise is much appreciated
I've had a lot of problems with the FW05R throttle servo. I've had 3 gone bad and I suspect it's because of the heat from the engine. All happened during long mains in hot weather. I've had any problems with the steering servo nor throttle servo on my RRR.

Are you sure? If there's anything to go by, the analogue ones would last better than digital...

The old school of thought : Analogue servos for throttle, digital servos for steering

Perhaps it's the angle and the way the throttle servo is installed on the FW05R gives a lot of strain to the servo...

I did have that once.
I placed an extra o ring under each screw and left it so it had a little movement, also I put a 5mm piece of full tube on the full open side of the throttle linkage to prevent the motor in the servo fighting something solid.
latest servo (KO) has been in there since Feb.

I think I have a version in English in the back of the van, give me a day or so and I'll try to scan it.

Thanks nimo. Will try the o ring. Don't quite understand the throttle linkage part. I have a piece of fuel tube at the end of the brake linkage, the throttle linkage is much shorter, so if you say put a fuel tube there, it would be after the spring right?

You place the o-rings between the servo and the upper deck. This will also raise the servo's height marginally and prevent it from touching the chassis plate (hot).

I saw the the kawahara carbon steering plate option and there are these small holes (ackerman?). How to utilise these holes?

the holes towards the front of the car will make the steering more aggresive i.e. more steering during mid and corner exit.

Other side from the spring, on the stopper side
