braking..
hi
Just wnated tips on how to increase the braking... I have currently swited to the soft brake pads and sp. disk by kyosho.. the braking not hard..as the other guys when the car gets hot at a 20 min run i loose braking.
How can i increase the braking .. some of the guys are using Carbon pads ? are they any good.. i doubt ? since its a hard material.
i am still awaiting the conversion kit...from japan.. in the mean time i wanted to play with the gearing to make it a bit more faster. i heard that if i put the 39T or the 37T with a diff.. gearing it would make it much faster is this true. if yes what are the diff combinations.
cheers

I use the APP02 brake set up (Steel Disc and Metal Sintered Pads), I'm known for heavy 4 wheel braking and this set up lasts a 30 minute main.

RRR - is super light weight can't argue much on that.
My FW05R weight reduction are -
1. Rear kawahara graphite stay
2. Titanium pivot
3. AAA battery size
4. Light weight engine head sink
4. Light engine mounting
5. Light Kawahara centax clutch
next plan
1. Carbon composite Arm front and rear
2. Change the throttle digital servor (steel) to plastic super servo.
To much afford on FW to get it slim.. I better go for V1RRR instead Less headache!!!
