Yes, that's what I noticed too ... incredible low end no matter what pipe is used!

I don't have the url handy at the mo, but rc-mushroom used to have them. I think its something like http://rc-mushroom.com

I still have the V-1-RR with the NSR in it. I got a new PL off of a guy on here. Its a different design with different material. no need to worry about temp as i have had it at 325 and it was still ok.

Cheers
that's hot!

Hey RJL...Thanks for the Kawa Part Item Description a few threads back. I got another one for you.... the pivot balls that came with the Kawa Rear - is that Steel or Titanium? I read somewhere saying those where Titanium - but it doesn't look though. And also on the Kawa Front...where do you put the caster clips...one on each side or 2 up front?

Update on that grub screw (Kawa Center)...I'm using a Permatex Red "high strength" not the permanent ones and it stays there now..
The pivot balls are steel I think.
I have one clip each side, if I put both in front the second one tends to get caught in the diff out drive and gets pulled out.
I've done the full Kawahara conversion but not the rear end yet and was wondering if anyone had done this. The car is the fastest and best handling tourer I've ever had and I started racing 200mm with the Mk 1 spider so have been at it a long time.
I will do the rear conversion and report back on the changes it makes.

No. The swing arm length on the FW are a lot longer. If you fir the mugen rear hubs you need the use the front ones in the back

Cheers

If you want pull start perhaps the FW05S might be better.

Yes.
But you will need to put spacers under the motor mounts to allow clearance for the pull start unit.

Default Pipes and manifold...again.

Been down on expenses lately...so kyosho one-piece pipe is definitely out of my leagues for now,
Therefore, need some info to help me make a temporary decision. Between a RD Logic one-piece pipe and the JPL one-piece pipe, which one is better? In terms of power across all bands, and which one is louder? Will be running it with the Nova RS12 S5 Race. Thank you very much...

you can get this header from HPI for 13 dollars and then use any pipe just turn the pipe over and redrill the preasure fitting on the other side!
