Hey Marcos, now that you have both the FW05R and the 710, how do you compare the two? I was thinking of getting a 710 too so I am curious what you think. Thanks!

The Kyosho pipe helps but I'm still at a disadvantage. I finally got my own Kyosho pipe and will be running it from now on.

What do you like better about the FW vs. 710? The new V1RRR looks interesting too!

The FW feels more planted yet still turning in really sharp where as the 710 is a little nervous. Also, everyone here doesn't think highly of the 710's durability. I haven't broken anything on the car but that's because I've only run the car 3 times.

I already have money set aside for a V-one RRR. My Evolution was ballistic. Belt drive is just giving me less of a hassle. I'm keeping it Kyosho through and through. These are the toughest kits I've ever owned.

With the kawahara front conversion you can adjust the roll center. You can shim the front upper-arm mount #63 to lower the roll center, too.

I've fitted the Centre Conversion Kit and at last I'm not lighting up the tyres under power, and that long 1st gear makes the car feel so good (21/50*46), also the Kawahara diffs run much smoother.

These Diff wear problems, I must be lucky as I've not had any problems with mine (and I use the car a lot), maybe it's the Ceramic Grease I use on them.

Perhaps you can share with us your setup at the 710 forum. Have you tried a lower rear roll center on the 710?

I m using diff at both end with 50k frt and 30k rear. Will mugen rear upright conversion make the rear more planted?

Thanks in advance.
Dameetz, .. I have exactly same problem . I still trouble shooting this, today still no success. Please share it with us if you got the cure.. Thank you

Is it true, front solid axle will give better on power steering as compare to front diff and will also allow you to have front brake as compare to one-way, but the off-power steering will not be as good as one way especially on a high grip surface.
