not to sound like a jaded rctech regular, but this has been beaten to death many times.
FYI. The Reflex was made from a repackaging of V One R option parts developed by K Factory with Trinity/K Factory's own tooling for the composite pieces such as bulkhead, control arms, diffs, etc. I dont know much about the G4 but it appears to be almost a completely new car compared to the Reflex.

I wasn't aware the comparison was beaten to death about the good, high end cars. I personally have owned all of them except the R40. All really good pieces in my opinion. I am running a Nitro TC3 now, which has been a great car for the small track I run on.

comparison: no. statements such as company X's car looking like/following/etc. another company Y's car: yes.

icon: oh come on, be a sport. You know you love these discussions.
You know, 4 wheels, a fuel tank, and a engine....
....how much longer can we all deny that, yes, our car looks like company yadayadayada's car, which looks like........
This use to bug me, but then I realized that the devil was in the details. Its those unique features like those 4 wheels, fuel tank, and engine that really show how closely these cars resemble each other.

One thing I notice about just about every car on the market, is that once people get a car, they can't wait to put other companies' stuff on it.
For example: you say you have Yokomo shocks on your R40, but almost all the people who run the Yok SD, put Associated shocks on them.
I generally lose interest in car threads after I've had a car for a while, simply because all the talk on the thread usually turns to how much you can modify, change, or use other company stuff on the car.
I just don't get it.

Darkseid, I don't know 1wayfreak but I did detect a hint of sarcasm in his post. I think he was trying to make the same point you made...

lol..i was just joking about putting serpent on my R40, don't take it personally darkseid i dont' even know if it'll fits, i'm happy with mine.
Let me clarify so you won't get confused,
I used the yokomo shocks because i was in need to use the shocks since i broke the thread on my R40. No more intentions than that, no gain in any angle of performance, just something near me that i can found, i got craving running more laps after i broke my rear shocks thread
And for the clutch, I did this intenttionally, my HPI clutch shoes just doesn't last very long. With mugen clutch, the whole set will fits rigth in, no MOD needed, and it last longer. (my HPI clutch shoe just gave up on me within 1 week).
IMHO, there's a certain products from a certain companies that have better quality and use value than others. Hey if it works without spending money why not? It just something to keep your wallet safe
cheers
