How does the R40 stack up the newer cars like MTX-4,RRR,G4S etc? any feedback from R40 owners.

Well hara won with it a few years back when it was more of a regular r40. But now its upgraded but its competition has changed.

Id say its comparable , but id stick with what i had if i had an rrr or mtx-4 etc etc. Go for what you love...

I don't use them. Technicaly it already has them. I'm pretty sure 3 racing make them. They call them swing shafts. I also seem to remember Kawahara making them too.

I have the kawaharas..

Hpi's are good enough and very lightweight and low cost. Just grab a few of those.

Also yes 3racing makes them , called swing shafts or dog bones ive seen.

Also gpm makes some titanium ones , you gotta special order those.
