I've damaged my rear lower suspension mounts twice today by lightly touching the sideboards with my rear wheels. I normally stay away from aluminium parts, as they just add weight to the car. But I'm thinking of replacing these parts with aluminium parts. Has anyone else had the same problem before?

With the CG arms it became a problem one time and I went with the 3racing aluminum blocks , they work great.

(My fault for playing chase with a dog and ended up going through pebbles/mud/some sand, and defaced the underbody)

Anyways, other than the hpi rubber belts, are there any other options I can use?

well, just found out I damaged this too after the belt broke.

since the r40 shaft drive conversion kit is no longer in production, the only option is the japan only urethane belts...and in all honesty, they will be worse in your situation.....rocks play havoc with belt cars,so the best thing is stay off the street

yes..I would not hestitate to tell you tu get a HPI SS 18 kit...or even the stock RTR evo 3 kit....

I won the HPI challenge in nitro stock..with little set up,the HPI kits run well, take the easy to mount HPI bodies(including the SWEET mustang and camaro bodies)...and have tons of hop ups....

Does anyone know where I can buy a hara lookalike body online that would ship worldwide.

I now my painting skills are very limited, So I better buy it if I want it.

Check the painting forum, there is a thread there just for people looking for painters. There are several painters listed there that could do what you are looking for.

I just got one of these and was wondering, whats a good batterie pack for this car? I got some 1000mah AAAs at Frys and I will build my own pack. Will a hump pack fit the batterie tray, or is it too tall?

Also, I have been reading this tread on and off since it was started. I noticed how most of you get a Mugen clutch and I was wondering whats wrong with the stock one?
