I just got a .12 race engine for my R40 but what tuned pipe to get??? the pipes i have for my 18tz do not fit verry well.

I run silver and black (rear) a lot and sometimes black and gold (rear). Since you can tune the front with the swaybar you can get a pretty good balance very easily.

hey guys ummm my 1st onroad was the RS4 3 18SS umm i am getting the R40 but am wondering the i need liek i no i need a Body , Radio , Pipe, Engen but i no that on the bottem of the chassis is the battery u undo some serews and the plate comes off does the car come with that battery and if not can i jjjust use a batter pak that takes like 4 AA batteries
and what Engin, Pipe and Body should i get i am thinking of getting a Caddilac CTS-V body but what engina nd pip i should get

My STS .12 is a screamer. Its the Stage II modified. I have an exact one for sale if you wish, just built it last week.
I use the LRP 6 plug.

I have recently bought an R40 and an O.S. .18TZ EB Modified engine for it. I was wondering what header and pipe I should use. If anyone has a similar setup or just has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Im not sure , probably around 1750-1780 fully loaded. All depends on what you build with , heavy or light servos , will it have titanium screw kit add-on , how thick your tires are.
On the note of weight though. I just weighed my old racer2 and it weighs 1546g with body. OMG , how were these things legal before? They must have had a lower weight limit.

Thanks, but I probably should have been a little more clear in my question because I want to know how much weight I could save if I put the Hara chasis on instead of the original purple chasis. Or if there was an aftermarket chasis that would weigh less than the Hara one.

Im not sure how easily it could be fit onto a 2003/standard kit without everything else to go along. But its heavier than the 2004. So if you want lightweight , go with that but you really wouldnt want to.
If any upgrade in your chassis dept , just go with the full hara conversion. Which is hara chassis , hara upper deck , hara servo mounts and hara tank.
Youd then need to get a 5 cell AAA hump pack.
This would end up getting you the lightest chassis for what you have, as well the best performing since its layout is more centered and lower.
