The Dodge Stratus Aero 2. At least thats what I think is there latest aero body. It could be a newer one. But thats what I found on HPI's site.

Yeah Iam kinda confused to which one is "the" new aero body on his car. Im looking at pictures from 2004 and I cant tell what body they have showing for HARA, his fronts always look totally different.

I know its hpi though with that rear.

Hara has also been known to run a lot of RIDE bodies - which would give you that "odd" front but a "known" rear....

ANyone know the size of the bearings that are in the "R40 Steering Upgrade Set" (p/n 33403)??

Trying to find an alternative to paying $15 for 4 bearings....

2nd question

Can I just do the 4-gear diff mod with the existing diff or do I need to replace the housing as well??

Thanks

I can't remember the size but the bearings will cost you $15 if purchased alone anyway.

The 4 gear mod works with the stock housing.

Thanks for the info...I've found several different places, Acer Bearing included, where I can get 4 bearings for WAY cheaper than the HPI set-up - Avid RC has bearings for $1US a piece....I don't need a "super all-weather, rubber sealed, self-oiling, mega bearing" for the steering rack

Yeah I think I saw the word ride on some of the pictures I was looking at.

I figured it out though. Its the mazda 6. I should have known to look at his setup sheet. LOL.

Yeah that probably would have been the best place to look

The new HPI toureza looks alot like the Mazda on both the nose and back - I need to get mine painted and give it a spin

Yeah, was wondering through my local "crap" hobby shop - and was pleasantly suprised to see one hanging on the rack

It comes with the molded rear wing - not sure how that's gonna work out - but it looks nice...not too mention the different headlight and taillights

Art-1,

Your welcome for the help. I'm surprised you made the whole ten minutes with the amount of fuel in your bottle. Better luck next time with the back markers.

Joe,

To actually have a chance you have to have your car on the track. Your day was like the one I had at Palm Bay. I'm thinking of running the R40 next month also. We'll see how it works out.

And no I don't need a pipe, Dave.

Yeah Im pretty good at eyeballing things. I thought it would be easy on whoever was going to pit for me. But I didnt plan on the few laps I ran before the start I was like hmmm maybe I should have grabbed a little more.

I was having motor trouble myself as well, so it wasnt draining the tank as quick. I have a STS D3R motor and just got done breaking it in on the track the night before. I went to tune it that night and that morning and both times ended up with the HSN FULLY closed and the LSN like 2 turns out and it was still pretty rich.

You were a great help, was honored to have you as my pit man. I dont know how but I shot way out in front at the start. I have a feeling it was the Dave factor. Thanks again.
