I've been E-mailing GasRCCar about the Kawahara Lola body, but never get a response.
Sorry didn't check my Pm, but this is a serpent body.
you can also check YOKOMO bodies...

Well tomorrow morning I am going to race for the first time and am going to break in the engine during practice. Everything is set and ready to roll. I am a little nervous.

I've been into RC since 1984 with my Grasshopper and all I have done is backyard/street bashing since. I hope I do not look like a chump!

Just remember to have your stuff charged, a nice set up, extra tires and batteries for your remote and extra fuel. You'll do fine, but remember on practice runs check what tires the faster drivers use and what lines they use on the track to be faster... good luck.

BTW where in florida do you race, what's the track's name??

I charged everything last night and looked over/played with everything just in case I forgot something today.

I am in Atlanta right now for work, I'll be at the Sugar Bowl and attending TFB next weekend too (maybe today - they start late).

Orlando is the spot for racing. We have Superior Hobbies, Lakeland Raceway, and now Kissimmee Raceway! The closest is 20 minutes and the furthest is 1 hour away.

What shore are the factory HPI tires in the kit?

What is a good baseline set-up for a short track? The straight is 160 feet long and everything else is spirts and turns. I know that there are many factors, but am curious.
For starters I set the car up at the minimum wheelbase, stock supension settings (castor, diff oil, shock oil, springs, and shock locations), -2 camber front and rear, .5 toe out front, 0 toe rear. Sound OK?

It is a permanent track that is blown and sprayed with sugar before race day.

Everything looks fine except for the toe-in/ toe-out
I would set 0 toe-in in the front and -2 toe-in in the rear.

Thanks!

PS. I bought a Serpent Porsche 962 200mm body today. I had to have a Lola, but www.gasrccar.com was out and this was close enough.

Klander- SWEET! Came out way better than mine. Ah well, I'll do another one and make it better. Still waiting for the floating rear mount though. Well, which ever one that fits.
