LOL. I'll definately let you know about the races. I will however be going with the Rody 3 port engine. Gonna dump $320 flat for it.

It's a lot yeah, but it's race legal otherwise I'd get the NS12 S5 port engine, which I may save some $$ with. Still that Rody makes more power faster quicker than the Mugen X12 and other engines tested. It's awesome.

There ya go. It's expensive yes, but for the price I won't want to spend a lot on something only a bit faster or so compared to the MT12. I want a nice engine and I won't be running often anyway. Besides if I can't go 8th I'd want something fast around those speeds. For $320 flat I think I'd go with it and no other engine. Yes the NS12 S5 is cheaper, but it's NOT race legal. If I get the rody it will be my last engine for a long while.

Same here the car oversteers like a B!!! when you have the rear swaybar on. I am also gonna try some softer springs in the rear.

athrun - whats your definition of "car wont handle." Im looking to get the 2004 kit for myself. Id seriously doubt the 2004 kit is handling worse.

Also whats your setup? Stock 2004 ED?

Hey you guys with the rear swaybar problem... I took that thing off and my car handles great, this was before all the LW and graphite parts, maybe i'll try to put it back on and see how it handles now. Im using the HPI gold springs in the rear and my ride handles great, you should try them, they are like $4. USD

Hark- what you need to do is to either take the foam away, or cut it in the same angle as the body. On my nissan 350z I had to cut the sides a bit for the body to fit, My lola body is on it's way, along with another foam bumper which I will cut to fit just right...

REGG151: check the torque of your servo, it might be too much and that's giving you oversteer. I had that problem eith a super high torque I used to use, but now I have a high torque, but not that torquier as the one I took from my thundertiger EK4S2 sport.

Hey KLANDERMAN, is that Lola for the R40? I've been looking for a 1/10th scale, 200mm Lola for a while now. I've come across several shops that have them on back order, with now end in site. Where'd you order it from?

I use my car on all sorts of tracks and so far have always been fine with the rear bar on. The car should handle fine with it. Of course if you want to soften the rear thats one way (remove the bar) but the bar itself does not make the car handle wierd.

I qualified 3rd and finished 2nd last weekend with my R40 on a quite large track against some very competitve drivers in my state. Used the rear bar as well

It just oversteered a small bit to much for me. Im gonna buy both the silver and gold springs on the rear to see what i like most.
