Now thats a nice setup. they can change the layout without having to repave everytime. I like those 180 turns as well as the traffic circle.

what are the dimentions approx.

I don't know them exactly, but I know the straight is about 200ft or so around 250 ft with the right turn before the 180 turn

Very nice track. I'd love to race on a permanent track. It would be awesome. Regg hows the MT12 running at floyd? I may not be able to be there for a while till I get my real car. I heard Brooklyn Hobbies got the lap counter system!!! SWEETT! I still think I'll be getting the RB V12 as I need a bit more speed. The MT12 is good, but it's not too big on top end speed, which I need for a fast flowing track.

the mt 12 does quite well out at floyd although it did top out early with the stock tranny. now with the lt wt tranny it should do much better.

I was able to keep up with another R40 with the OS12tr and lw shafts among other lw hopups. all I had was the grphite shock towers. I'll be ordering a few more gears so I can take advantage of the power of the engine.

The lap counter is news to me I haven't been out there since last season.

An OS .12Tr giving you trouble? Must be the 5 port TR or the R spec. Those give quite a bit more HP than the MT12. 8th onroad is soo appealing to me and I'd really love to do it. Just an MRX4, RB S7c, RB pipe, and futaba servos will do me good for starters. However, my mom would surely spaz if she finds this LHS bill laying around! My friend keeps trying to get me to do 8th onroad. I drove one before and it is indeed appealing. I love em a lot. Eh, I dunno what do to. For now it's kick booty with the R40 as I'll get some upgrades for it as well as spare parts.

Im thinking about getting into 1/8th scale racing. But i don't know what i want on or offroad. Onroad would run me about 1000buxx though. But offroad wouldn't run me anyless.

Hey you can do what I'm doing. Snag the MRX4 at the cheapest place you can find it. Probably TowerHobbies and use that discount thingy. Next, buy the RB S7c for $209 or less at some LHS, and the RB pipe to go with it ( E01003-S7C
Package RB Concept "S7C" + E1351-042017P ). Together it should be around $800-$900 depending on price payed. Then all that leaves is the servos, which are about $100-$120. Here's the page for the engine and pipe: http://www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php...C&imagentete=2

The price for some .12s these days are rediculous and I found that sport engine to kick all the especially when it comes to price. Surely with this car NO ONE IS DRIVING IT BUT ME! . I'll put a sign on it that says touch it and DIE. Now to get things done fast, I'd have to get rid of the MGT first, then the TL-01 with buncha electric motors, esc, brushes, springs and other craps, and the R40 I'll keep to try to get to nanuet.

HARK: the Os .18tz turbo engine is in stock at towers...

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHLV6&P=ML

Just in case... I might have to get one for bashing because I won't be able to use it for competition... we have to use pure .12 engines and now they are letting .12 turbos compete, so I'm ok with the wasp engine.

Most of us are awaiting the US release of the OS 12tzr. This motor is suppose to be equivalent in power to the Italian powerplants but at the OS economical price (around $200us). Also, unlike the 18tz, the 12tzr is ROAR legal.

I wonder if the 12tz will be as strong as the 18tz, or atleast similar because the .18 is $180

From what I understand, it is suppose to be strong but not near the horsepower output of the 18tz. Estimated horses are around 1.4 to 1.6, equivalent to the current crop of Italian motors. Pricing is the real big question mark here.

Yeah I guess you are right... I use the italian team orion and it has 1.45BHP, it's a .12, 3 port, but it feels like a .15... I believe this is picco engine
