Well my friend finally got the RB V12 3 port turbo for his R40 along with:

alum side brace
alum shocks
graphite (engineside) brace
few bodies
Serpent pipe

The only thing he doesn't have, is the LW 2speed and shafts, which I do. I'm wondering how good of a run I'll give him as he never had experience with nitro onroad before. I know for sure the stock gear ratio will give him some nasty bottom end that he won't be able to control. Still with the taller gear ratio, my MT12 pulls like a bat outta hell. I adjusted the 2speed so it will shift a bit later. He never handled the speed of nitro onroad and thought my ride went like 35-40mph. I was just laughing, especially when he thought of going 8th onroad!! I think I'll sell the MT12 to someone and snag that Sirio Evo 5 port.

BTW, my R40 drivetrain right now is SOOOOO SMOOOOTTHHHH its rediculous! I had to take the body off to make sure it wasn't a shaft driven car under there.

Yeah I saw pics of that OS .12TZ. Not sure if I should wait for that or try the Sirio. I'm guessing I should get something race legal, but with no legal racing in mind now, the 5 port is fine. I think I can always change the piston to a 3 port later on anyway.

that's awesome!!! I wonder how my car would handle with the LW 2 speed...
I bet you I could hang in there with the .18tz on the straights...

where can I see those RB engines?

Yeah, but I think I'd rather get something legal just incase. Maybe the NS12 will do the trick .

Klanderman-Definately look into the LW 2speed. IMO thats one of the best upgrades to look into. Here is a comparison photo of it compared to the stock.
