Default titan screws!!!

Earlier someone was talking about getting the titan screws for the R-40, but the price was too much and what would happen if you needed an extra titan screw?

Well the answer is www.rcmart.com

They have a bunch of selections in different materials, so if anyone thinks the titan screws are worth it, look them up under accesories
Have a great one!!!

Default New parking lot bashing lid

It's been raining out here in L.A. so much I got bored and decided to paint my new Yokomo Euro Truck lid for my R40. It's a parking lot basher lid. We run out here at the Rose Bowl on the weekends and people get a kick out of the Euro Truck on my GT4. I thought it would be cool to run my R40 on one. I still need a wing for the back, I should get that done this weekend.

The whole body comes in four pieces (bottom portion, cab, rear bumper, and cover for the rear of the cab). So the bottom portion is the actual piece that mounts onto the car. Think of the bottom portion as one platform covering the R40 and the body posts come through the platform. The cab of the truck attaches through mounting screws on it's side.

It's a bit of a pain to mount the front body pins, but you get used to it.

I'm not sure what setup is included with the kit since I don't have the '04 kit. But the setup in the manual is the stock setup. If you have a loose sheet with a setup, its probably Hara's setup from the ROAR championship. You can also find his setup on HPI's US website. That setup is for a permanent high bite track. I have used that setup for a starting point in parking lot races too and I only needed a couple of tweaks to get it where I wanted.
