Unfortunately, our track is small and tight so my setup is quite different from stock. My car has ALOT of steering in it now and is also setup softer.
Hmmm interesting. I am the sort of person who mainly drives the stock setups and adjusts my driving style to suit, so I kinda dont mess with setups too much. But I would be interested to see your setup if you could kindly post it.

Yikessss! Now that's a big track. Personally, I prefer small tracks. Hmmm...well, actually, I like tight, technical tracks with a straight no longer than 150 ft. The reason being is that I hate being out motored on the big tracks. Saying that is kind of ironic especially since I own both a JP RR12L5 and a modified V12. Here's a link to the track I race at.

Oh...and the other reason I don't prefer big tracks (especially if it's a not a permanent track) is that I'm cheap (LOL). Higher speeds mean more tire wear = more tires = more money going to tires = less money in my pocket = less pimpin money at the clubs.

Fastharry... Have you heard when the jackson track is going to be up and running? Us MD/VA/DC guys have been talking about making the trip up there. See you there....hopefully soon.

I usually don't stick too close to stock setup
since I'm constantly tweaking to suit my driving
style. I dont have any preference for large or
small tracks but since I race on a tight technical
track all the time I miss the breathing space of
large one. Nice track Fastharry!
PTP are you racing the r40 on Saturday? I know
that you were shopping for an engine.

In case you guys have not read the rules for the 2004 USA HPI Challenge, the R40 will not be allowed in the nitro modified class. Ask yourself, how could this be? It is a HPI product and was allowed at the 2003 Worlds in Las Vegas. We need to voice to HPI that a rule change is apparent.

Those are last year's rules. It will be allowed, so will the Pro 4. Hpi already stated so.

If that is the case, they should not post last years rules under the link for the 2004 Challenge races. I got that straight off their site earlier.
