and here is steering at full lock. as you can see the right wheel is hitting againest the shock ball end... I think kai888 had this problem aswell

Have you guys protected your RX in some way?

I crashed my car to the fence today and hit the side and the Spektrum RX, so that components were flying in the air... my new RB was almost blown up, too, because it was revving quite high and long before I managed to run from the driver's stand to the car on the opposite side of the track and shut it down..

I'm planning to the RX on top of the chassis now.

yeap, i have one of those it came with the car.
its just a plastic container with a lid, i have a spektrum 3300t in the car and it just fits in that receiver box.

they are 26mm.. they do look 30mm in the pics though..

but defently 26mm

mugen fits.. but dont know how well it would work as its only just a cover.

i run the old rrr topdeck., so servo is on receiever is on top of car

Guys one question, do we install the rear belt tensioner with L inscription to right as indicated in the manual book? am confused because L should be positioned to the left.

was thinking of it too late now.. the left overs of the spektrum RX in the bin now. Nothing else broke, it was just the RX that got hit. Cheers
