Maybe I'm coming off wrong with the Mike thing, I'm not saying that is a goal I'm hoping to hit within a week. It took me years to get electric racing down to where I have it now, and my goal was to make the Invitational class at the Reedy Race which this will be my first year running it.

Brian Kinwald basically dominated sedan at SoCal raceway the way Mike does at CP, but after years of practice I was finally able to keep on pace with him and once in a while challenge for the win.

I need to get used to the feeling of a nitro sedan, because it really drives nothing like an electric does, but I'll be coming up on any weekends I can to get it figured out and hopefully start going to some of the major nitro races since there are so few major outdoor asphalt races for electric anymore..

Why didn't you show up for the race?
I was looking forward to see you. Let me know next time you will be going to CP (weekend), so I can go and help you set everything up.

Walter:

Can you email me your setup sheet? I couldn't read it. I just want to compare it to mine.

That's bad, but well; work is always first.

Default Leaky shocks

I got some serious leaking in my shocks after I rebuilt them. I had various bladders that I tried but no go. Can someone confirm if the stock bladders have a flat spot or are they half round?

They are leaking from the top. Above the bladder it looks like.

How fast should the rebound be?

My fingers are sore from loosening and re tightening them.

The rebound is pretty slow.
just fill them up, lave the piston in the bottom, then place the bladder on top of the shock and let it sit for 1 minute, then tighten the top part.
Is that how you did it?

For the most part. Except I didn't let it sit. I screwed the top on right away.

Just take your time placing the top part, but if they are still leaking you will need new bladders.

Cool, what time does the track open? I've got a few ideas I want to try out. Also, as per your setup shows the 1.3x1 pistons, I've never run a 1 hole piston. How would you say it performs vs the stock 1.1x2 pistons?
