Hi,
Am having some problems with clutch setup. I first ran clutch as per instruction and was having problems where I had to back of the clutch nut all the way back to get it to engage and even then I had to rev the pretty higher than normal to get the car going. Then after say 3-5min the engine would bog down, car would move much, engine wasn't revving out and clutch bell was engaged.
Last run I had, I ran with 4 clutch weights and red clutch shoe. Car was much better now but clutch but is still getting pretty hot and also causing the engine to get hot as well. Was running about 0.1-0.2 end play. The track is a fast track with a high speed sweeper at end of straight and has two hair pins and a fast back straight as well.
Should i be running more end play or maybe try the 4 clutch weights with the grey clutch shoe?

Sounds like your spring nut might have backed out. Check your flywheel nut. I had the same problem and it turned out that from the factory, the threaded part of the flywheel nut did not have enough threadlock and the clutch spring nut backed out all the way and locked up my clutch. After blowing a thrust bearing I figured it out. I put more thread lock and let it dry before assembling the clutch again. That corrected the problem.

Whats up with the price hike on the new kits ??? The Evo2 kits are about the same price as the NT1... I like the fact the kyosho stuff was affordable..
