Yes! Kyosho is known for that on their high-end products, like the RRR shimo. (I haven't build one myself but I'm pretty sure it's top quality)

I'm also using a Kfactory slotted vented rotor along w/ the pads. Do you have a part number on the kyosho pads? and do you run a spring in between your calipers?

I ran the Shimo brake rotor. I did use the springs that came with the K-factory pads.

The kyosho pads are: APP02-2

i was thinkin of getting a use RRR WC now the question is can i convert it to shimo edition or can i use the parts from shimo. im not goin to convert it now just incase i break a parts.

The Shimo is the same car, but with the components you would probably upgrade to in the original build. One thing is different however; Kyosho has come up with new new designed shockies, and this would hopefully fix the matter of all the leaking shockies that is usually a feature of Kyosho. The Shimo also has universal rear driveshafts; something that I wouldn't have upgraded to if I had built a standard RRR, but there are probably different opinions about this. I would stay with the old dogbones at the rear though.

All in all; the Shimo is just an upgraded RRR.

Ask your club members, standard setups are usually a good starting point. Standard setups may not work well on bumpy tracks that don't have good traction sometimes however. Loosen the rear up if the track is bumpy; disconnect the rear sway bar to make the rear suspension independent, increase rear droop and set up the rear shockies for maximum up and down travel of the arms. Make sure that you only make one change at the time, never more before you try it out. You will not know which one works, and which one doesn't otherwise.

Does the Shimo come standard with the softest springs (light blue) or the middle blue?

On the exploded diagram of the Shimo it shows the light blue code, but in the manual it shows the medium blue.
