Time to ask for some help,Starterbox problem's

I am useing a TeamAssocaited starterbox for the NTC3.

Starterbox has been doing good intil today,Can NOT get it to turn the fly wheel.

Put new batts in fully chargerd,Try other batts but still will not turn.

Wene it gets to the fly wheel is slowly stops.....?

What are your opinos on what to do........

Thanks!

Check the contactors, connectors, and wires they might be dirty, check for nicks, cuts, worn, and loose connections.

If you have a multimeter/tester. Unplug the battery. Set the multimeter to measure continuity/ohms. Hook one of the test leads of your multimeter to positive side of the connector on your starter box (this is the connector you used to plug in the battery). Then Hook the other test leads to the positive side of your starterbox 775 motor. Then depress the contactors of your starter box with your fingers. If the multimeter reads near the zero ohms, the positive wire connections is good. Then do the same on the negative side of the wires of your starter box.

If all the wires/connections are good , I assume that your starterbox 775 motor might be bad.

Just my 2 cents.

had the same issue, and my motor ended up being bad.
If you search around, you'll find boats that use 775 mabuchi(spelling?) motor, those are the exact same motor in our starter box. Only issue, is you'll have to try and pull the pinion pully off without destroying it. Use a puller, should work. Better to pay $20 for the same motor then $40 for the motor in Associated package....although it includes a new pinion pulley.
