Hi

I just got a Novarossi CX 12 and the manual didnt have anything regarding carb settings. I left it as it was straight out of the box and run it in with 3 tanks of gas but it doesnt like accelerating to full revs.

I open the throttle and it dies until i cut the throttle back and open slower.

Anybody know how i can rectify this?

Do i need to run it in longer?

Run about 5 more tanks and then start leaning the high end needle out.

Thanks. I managed to find the sorrect jet settings and opened them up for rich running and put 4 tanks through on the bench running at 1/2 revs. Oil was pouring out of the exhaust so nice and rich!

After leaning down the mixture it now goes like a rocket!

Next I have to run in the pixy black and I have heard this takes about a gallon of fuel to break in. I think ill fit a 1 ltr tank and run it in on the bench!
