Just imagine this time last year, and imagining that an HPI kit would win the ROAR 1/10 gas nats... that would have been a nice joke... but HPI has quickly proved they mean business, now (finally ).
Wow, very impressive.

Awesome weekend, the A-main was incredible with the crowd going nuts. So many different cars, it was really interesting to see the top drivers go at it, and to see the differing driving styles and setups. The track was extremely hot and greasy mid-day, and really hooked up in the late afternoon- many of us were chasing setup the whole weekend. Many of the local guys were amazed how the track conditions had changed from previous weekends. I expected traction to pick up with all the cars laying rubber down and no off road driving next door, but the track got greasier.
Hara was incredibly smooth all weekend and it was good to see him win after sorting out the motor/fuel economy issues. I heard he was using RD's new pipe with an S3 and he looked faster on the straightaway in the main. Easton really came on in the latter half of the weekend. The G4 was also very impressive in my mind, very stable, looked easy to drive.
The tech inspections were tough, and one bad thing that many of us found out was that most off the shelf rear tires measure over 30mm. My Fast tires were all around 30.5mm! Shaving them down was a bummer, and many people forgot to do so, and were disqualified in that particular round.
Revelation did a great job this weekend, and the free food was nice. Fred and Keyshawn were awesome announcers and kept things light in the midst of all the competitive angst. I'm exhausted, and my fingers hurt from tweaking for four days...

Hopefully all of the tech problems that happened at our National, and especially the EFRA 200mm EC, will be resolved before the Worlds in 2004 (which I believe you qualified for kevink2, nice job!).

BTW, for you Yoke lovers, I think the results page from Revelation's website is messed up. Tosolini should have been 5th but he's listed as 9th for some reason.

I'm surprised that the DQ'd drivers didn't decide to sit and block the track in protest... (If you don't know what I mean, read THIS, THIS, and THIS).
