Default Ofna Tire Truer Question

NEVER MIND....I JUST FIGURED IT OUT...DUH!

I picked up a real nice used Ofna manual tire truer....wow, impressed so far!

This is the first one I have ever used so I have nothing to compare it to or I could probably answer my own question as it is pretty simple I am sure.

My question is...the cutter is in a horizontal position and it seems to me it would cut the tire surface cleaner and better if it was set at a slight angle.

I can not see where there is any adjustment to rotate the cutter at all????

Not sure about the manual cutter. But the Ofna auto truer the blade is mounted at a 45 degree angle. If you look at the cutting arbor there should be a thumb screw on the top that drops down into a milled slot on the cutting arbor. This places the cutter at a 45 degree angle.

Race you later...
