Get the OS .18TZ more then enough power and it will fit into your car without any modifications. If you really want to put a .21 in there, go check out www.wolfpackradicals.com and have a look.

the only motors i could find that is .21 are nothing but truggy motor
would they still work for my car
remember it is a street car..

Usually you have problems fitting a big block .21=3.5cc engine into 1:10 because that will not fit (size). Honestly i don't know if that is the same for the Super Nitro because that car is 20% larger.. But sure, if it fits sometimes with some rearrangements you will be able to run it..

Yes they will. Same block, just a slightly different power band. Where are you looking anyway?

The .21 is going to tear up your drive train. Heck, even the .18TZ is too much power. If you gotta have the biggest :tire:, the .21 will work.

so if iwere to do the .21 swap i would have to do what to what?
would i have to get biger gears or switch the to aluminum or change my rimz and tiers??
sprry im asking so mutch questions i wanna make this work without any major erros

I've seen guys slap on .21 motors on their super nitros. I would recommend changing out the two speed. The stock finger type two speed tends to get stuck in 2nd gear. Wolf Pack Radicals makes a conversion where you can use a Team Associated two speed.

eclipser 03-20-2008 12:29 PM

mine only came with a 1 speed
so i would have to change that with a after market two speed?
what kind though

007kel 03-20-2008 01:42 PM

Wow, I guess you have the belt driven one. I remember some were shaft drives with a center two speed. Well, I don't know much about the belt driven chassis version. I guess you don't have worry about getting stuck two speeds.

yeah
so i should do the direct bolt on?

eclipser 03-20-2008 10:41 PM

bump!!
any one els got any advice for the .21 swap??

Rapid Roy 03-24-2008 12:20 AM

Have you looked at the link I gave you above? That site has a complete kit to do the .21 swap. Use the search too. The .21 conversion used to be fairly common and there was a lot of good info here.
