Two cars and one engine
 

Noob question.

I have a mtx-4r and a v1rrr wce. My engine is a OS 12TZ currently mounted on my mtx-4r.

Believe that the gear pitch on the pinion gears for both the kyosho and mugen is same. Can I just interchange my engine between the two cars without removing the clutch system? ie use my mtx-4r clutch and pinion gears on my v1rrr?

also understand that the engine mount for both cars are the same and interchangable too.

I think since everything fits, your main concern should be whether the pinions are the same size and tooth count. If they are the same you shouldnt have any problems. Also check that the flywheel doesnt hit anything and isnt protruding from the bottom of the chassis.
