Default Show Off Your Nitro Touring Car !!

Lets have a show off your car thread! Post pics of your touring cars. A great way for everyone to check out everyone else's cars. I have learned all sorts of neat tricka by checking out other cars. I'll post some pics of my cars later..

Has anyone tried relocating the air filter on the NTC3's, it looks like it would just suck hot air...

You can get a cool air intake for the NTC3 so that the airfilter sits somewhere in the middle of the car

My car pics are at rcattack.co.nr

It runs great...some people wonder if I'm running a 2 speed or not...as of yet I haven't. It's super punchy on the infield and fabulous on the straight. Last weekend I pulled a few people running better top end motors than me...says a lot about the OS TR being a good short track engine.

Was a pain to break in as everything was super super tight but that'll just mean I'll have great compression for awhile to come.

Our track straight is about 160' in Corona...not sure about the other track's straight.

what gearing are you running..you think it will pull the 6 tooth= 21/21 split..and you think it would run fine on a 190 ft straight?...against other 3 port motors?.....

I hada 5 port RB turbo in mine Sun..the strait was 190 ft..I could have used less top end, more infield, and an engine that stayed running 15 minutes into a 30 minute main...

are you saying you don't run a 2 sp?.....hows that compare to 2 sp cars with Nova motors?..

I am running the stock gearing ratio. I'm rather new to the whole Nitro scene so ports and all that still boggle me. I would venture to say that with a 190' straight you should have a 2 spd and a top end motor if the infield is swoopy and loose. If the infield is tight then whatever distance you may lose on the back straight would probably be gained back on the infield.

I don't run a 2 speed but have one coming in so I can't give much comparison to my non 2 spd motor running against ones that do.

Don't be jealous of my always clean car...it may be fussy but it always looks good.
