Hello Billy. I appreciate the killer price. I did not pre-order tires, but I will deffinately be interested in both 1/10 and 1/8th when I get there Friday. (what brand are they?) What is the popular choices for this weekend do you think? I've never raced there. Looking forward to a great weekend.
Can't help it noticing your signature, are you a KYOSHO Driver? and by the way where is Kyosho USA? also if you pay attention Billy mentioned that the tires are JACO.

I've never been up there so I'm not a "local" but hope to put faces to names this weekend and have a good time. I drive a RRR and an Evolva, so I guess that makes me a "Kyosho Driver" I am not part of the "Kyosho team" and "Kyosho USA" happens to be the name of their website (In California), so why not help support a good product. (along with JL, Powermaster, and my buds at Kamikaze) Hope that's ok. If it said Jaco it must have been on an earlier post and I don't always have time to look through the whole thread, becides I probabally have a.d.d. anyway . But, whoever is selling the tires at the good price, thank you!

I'll be posting photos tommorrow evening for friday's practice session. Photos will include pit shots, track, driver's stand with racers, and other candid shots. I will leave the cars on the track for others to take photos of because my camara isn't good for action shots

Post pracitce report.
One day down, two to go. The track in the morning ( 9am ) was fairly loose ( just because we'd haven't layed down the rubber yet ), so alot of the 1/8th scale guys were using 35's and the 1/10th scale sedan were using 37's to 38's. This was a good opportunity for us to get familiar with the track and pick out our lines. As the day progressed, so did traction. I believe the tire of choice for 1/8th scale was 40's and nitro sedan was 42 fronts / 40 rears. I also knew afew guys traction rolling with 42's in sedan.
The track was pretty free flowing for all scales. Fast times of the day went to Mike Swauger, Scotty Kimbrow, Barry Baker, and Ralph Burch all pulling high 16's with an average of around 17.5 seconds in 1/8th scale. For nitro sedan, it was Ralph Burch Jr with his Xray NT1 pulling consistant 18 second laps. His car was on rails and SUPER smooth.
Billy Bowerman is freakin AWESOME !! The program went so smooth that he was on time, EVERYTIME !! Everything was scheduled with a race program that included the practice schedule, heats, rules, and sponsors.
Anyways, as I promised, here are afew photos I took of the pits, staging, and some candids. I took pics of people I knew. Enjoy.
